  • Crispy Outside, Moist Inside Rice Flour Brownies – Easy One-Bowl Recipe

Crispy Outside, Moist Inside Rice Flour Brownies – Easy One-Bowl Recipe

    [✅ 2026 May Update]

It’s been a few months since I first shared this recipe. I’m still baking this brownie every two weeks because I still haven’t found a cafe in Canberra that satisfies my craving for a “less-sweet, firm-textured” brownie. The ingredients (Noshu chocolate and rice flour) are still widely available at Coles and Woolworths as of May 2026.

Quick Shopping Tip for Noshu Chocolate:

    • The original price of Noshu baking choco is $5.50 at Coles and Woolworths, but it sometimes goes on sale for around $3.80. I recommend grabbing a few bags when they are on sale.

    Simple One-Bowl Brownie Recipe

Sometimes I really crave brownies. Instead of paying $7–8 for a single store-bought brownie, it often feels easier and more satisfying to buy ingredients and bake them at home.

Rice flour brownie, slightly cooled, showing moist interior and firm exterior

Cut brownie after cooling slightly – warm, moist, and slightly dry, the best time to eat.

    Baking at home means:

    • You can adjust the sweetness
    • You can control the texture
    • Most importantly, you can make brownies exactly to your own taste

If you like brownies that are firm on the outside, slightly dry, but still moist inside, I highly recommend trying this at home. This recipe is based on very simple ingredients and a one-bowl baking method, and all ingredients are easy to find at Australian supermarkets.

    One-bowl Brownie Ingredients

    • Soy milk 320g
    • Baking chocolate chips 100g
    • Rice flour 100g
    • Almond flour 50g
    • Plain flour 10g
    • Cocoa powder about 5g
    • A pinch of salt

    👉 Optional ingredients

    • Honey / syrup / sweetener syrup 5–10g
    • Chopped nuts, cacao nibs, and coconut long slices
Homemade rice flour brownie ingredients from Australian supermarket

Ingredients are easy to find at major Australian supermarkets, except for the almond flour (Costco).

Texture Focus: Crispy Outside, Moist Inside

The key point of this recipe is: Using rice flour as the main base, reducing crumbling, and creating a firm outside with a moist inside. I have tried making brownies with 100% rice flour many times before. They were too dry, crumbled easily, and it was difficult to get the texture I wanted. After many trials and errors, I finally settled on this flour ratio.

Soy Milk vs Oat Milk – How They Affect Texture

I am not professionally trained in baking, but based on personal experience:

    Soy Milk

    • Protein helps the batter hold its shape
    • Results in a firmer texture
    • Brownies crumble much less
Soy milk rice flour brownie cross-section with optional walnuts, firm texture

Soy milk brownie cross-section with optional walnuts, showing a firmer structure and less crumbling.

    Oat Milk

    • Has a weaker structure
    • Brownies break apart easily
    • Inside is more moist than dry
Oat milk rice flour brownie for texture comparison with soy milk version

Oat milk brownie made with 320g oat milk and coconut long slices instead of walnuts, using the same base ingredients.

Oat milk rice flour brownie, soft and moist interior, less firm structure

Oat milk brownie texture that breaks very easily and feels much more moist than the soy milk version.

When using oat milk, I usually freeze the brownies and eat them the next day. Even then, the texture is less firm than with soy milk. Without freezing, they crumble very easily. 👉 If you want a firmer brownie, soy milk is recommended.

    Milk & Chocolate Base

    • Warm 320g of soy milk in the microwave
    • Add 100g of baking chocolate chips and melt (skip the double boiler for simplicity)

    Chocolate choice tip:
I use Noshu 97% sugar-free chocolate. Too milky or too sweet chocolates do not match my personal preference. 👉 You can use your preferred chocolate, but changing the chocolate may slightly affect the texture.

Brownie recipe with Noshu Sugar-free 97%

    Flour Ingredients for Texture

    Base Flours

    • Rice flour 100g
    • Cocoa powder about 5g (improves colour and richness)
    • Almond flour 50g (adds oil, nutty flavour, and better texture)

    Plain Flour

    • 10g to slightly improve structure
    • Add last and mix only until no dry flour remains to avoid overworking gluten

Optional Add-ins: These add optional texture and bite

    • Chopped nuts (walnuts, pecans)
    • Cacao nibs
    • Coconut long slices
Rice flour brownie batter texture, sticky and slightly watery optional walnut

Batter fully mixed with walnuts added as an optional ingredient.

Rice flour brownie batter poured into lined baking dish

Batter poured into a baking dish lined with baking paper (ceramic dish in my case).

    How to Make One-Bowl Brownies

    1. First, prepare the milk and chocolate base. Then add the dry ingredients to the same bowl and mix gently until combined.
    2. Mix well, add plain flour last and mix only lightly
    3. Preheat oven to 170°C
    4. Bake for 40 minutes

    Baking check:

    • Use a cake tester to test doneness
    • If done: remove and let cool slightly to maintain firm texture
    • If underbaked: bake 5–10 minutes longer
⚠ Baking time may vary depending on your oven

✅ Who This Recipe Is For

    • People who dislike overly sweet store-bought brownies
    • People who enjoy dry, firm desserts
    • People who want to reduce gluten in baking

    🛠 Troubleshooting Common Problems

Even with the same recipe, the texture can vary depending on the products you use, so that some small adjustments might be necessary.

    If Brownies Crumble Too Much

    • Switch to soy milk
    • Add 5–10g more plain flour
    • Keep almond flour the same or add 10g more
    • Cut only after completely cooled

    If Brownies Are Too Hard

    • Reduce baking time by 5–10 minutes
    • Add about 20g more milk
    • Reduce rice flour and replace with almond flour
    • If frozen, let sit at room temperature 5–10 minutes before eating

    Final Thoughts

This is a true one-bowl recipe: measure, mix, bake. Mixing thoroughly without flour lumps is very important, even though it takes less than 10 minutes. Before baking, taste a small amount. The baked brownies will taste slightly less sweet than the batter. The outside is slightly firm but not like a biscuit, and the inside is soft and moist with a very subtle dryness. Storing in the fridge can make the texture slightly drier and the taste a bit less sweet. Enjoying it with a flat white adds another layer of enjoyment.

Soy milk rice flour brownie, firmer and drier after one day in fridge.

Chilled soy milk rice flour brownie after one day, showing a firmer and drier texture as moisture is reduced. This is unavoidable with refrigeration, so the best time to eat them is right after they have cooled slightly.

New Outdodr Maze in Canberra – Honest Review, and Challenges

[2026 Update: Is it only for kids?]

Many people ask, “Is this place only for kids?” My answer is No. Even for adults, it is a very fun place.

The maze is actually quite hard and large. It took us about 40 minutes to find all the animals. If you go with your partner or friends, you can have a race or a challenge. It’s a good physical activity for adults too.

Also, this place has a long history in Canberra since 1973. There are very old train carriages from 1910. They look very beautiful and vintage. If you like taking photos, you will love it here. 2026 is a great time to visit because the area is well-maintained and the lake view from Weston Park is still amazing.

[Quick Tips about Yarralumla Play Station]

    • Miniature Railway: You can ride the “Bluebell” train. There is no age limit, so adults can enjoy it too!
    • Historical Carriages: They have four historic NSW train carriages used as unique function rooms.
    • Philosophy: According to the official website, they believe “play” helps children build confidence. They encourage kids to trust their own judgment and not just follow others like sheep.

Canberra New Maze Experience Review | Things to Know Before You Book

I recently visited a newly opened maze experience in Canberra. At first, I thought it would be small, but the maze was actually quite large.

I strongly recommend bringing a small water bottle. There is no water fountain inside, and the maze requires more physical effort than expected.

It’s best to eat a proper meal before entering, especially if you plan to spend a long time inside. Luckily, we grabbed some food at a cafe in the Yarralumla shop.

From Wanaka to Canberra | Why We Booked This Maze

About ten years ago, I tried a maze experience at Puzzling World in Wanaka, New Zealand. I remember it being very fun, so when I heard that a maze had opened in Canberra, I booked right away. My husband and I both really enjoy escape rooms, puzzles, and problem-solving activities, so this maze was something we were genuinely excited about.

Canberra Maze Booking Information and Opening Hours

    • Online booking is available on the official website
    • Weekdays: 9:30 am – 2:00 pm
    • Weekends: 9:00 am – 2:30 pm
    • Booking slots are 30 minutes or 1 hour

We booked the 2:00 pm session, and the confirmation email showed 2:00–3:00 pm. At first, I thought we had to leave by 3:00 pm, but there is actually no strict time limit. You can exit and re-enter the maze, as long as you wear your wristband. The wristband is picked up at the cafe shown in the photos, before entering the maze.

Canberra Maze Ticket Price and Total Cost

    • $25 per adult (2 adult)
    • online booking fee: $2.73
    • Total paid: $52.73

Location and Parking | Easy Access Near Weston Park

The maze is located right next to the Yarralumla Play Station building. There is a parking area right beside the building, and parking was easy during our visit. Directly in front of the maze is Weston Park, a large public park with walking paths, barbecue areas, and a playground. On weekends, many families visit this area, and it’s easy to plan activities before or after the maze.

Maze Challenge Options | What We Tried

There are two challenge options available.

    Challenge 1

    • Visit all four forts
    • Exit the maze without using any shortcuts
    • In an emergency, go to the covered central area and follow the emergency signs

    Challenge 2 (Our Choice)

    • Find seven animal photos hidden throughout the maze
    • Write down the underlined spelling for each animal photo
    • Use the letters to form a secret word
    • A challenge sheet can be collected from the staff

Canberra maze challenge rules showing Challenge 1 and Challenge 2 activities

Actual Maze Experience Review | What It’s Really Like

Inside the maze, we tried to remember the wooden wall patterns to figure out where we had already been. However, after some time, everything started to look the same, so this method didn’t really help. We also noticed X marks carved into the wood, probably left by other visitors, but they didn’t make much difference either.

After about 30-40 minutes of getting lost and walking around, we slowly became more familiar with the maze layout. After finding a few animals, it was possible to guess the word, but we still completed the challenge properly and found all seven, like finishing a quest.

We heard there was no time limit and that you could do as many challenges as you wanted, but we were happy just to fully complete one. Doing two would have been too physically tiring for us.

A Must-Visit Spot Inside the Maze | Mirror Room

Inside the maze, there is a Mirror Room in the central covered area, which is a very small space decorated with multiple lights. Thanks to the mirrors, the room looks much bigger and more impressive than it actually is. The experience reminded me of TeamLab Planets in Tokyo. Even if you’re not into social media, this is a very memorable visual spot, and I recommend visiting it at least once.

✅ Who This Maze Experience Is Good For

    • People who want a different kind of walk: If you’re tired of walking the same paths near home, this offers a more interesting walking experience.
    • Families looking for an active outing: There is a lot of walking, so children are likely to be very tired by the end of the day. There are also mini golf and train riding in the Yarralumla play station, and a public park with a playground right next to it.
    • Couples looking for a unique date idea: If you’re bored of typical cafe or restaurant dates, this maze makes a fun and memorable date.
    • People who enjoy adventure and puzzles: If you like escape rooms, puzzles, and challenges, you’ll probably enjoy this maze.

Weather Tips for the Canberra Maze | Best Time to Visit

The maze is outside, but the wooden walls help stop the wind a little. However, there is no protection from direct sunlight, so checking the weather before visiting is very important. Personally, I think a cloudy day is much better than a sunny day. Spring and autumn are ideal seasons, and even in summer, visiting early in the morning would be the most comfortable option.

  • Pre-Glued DIY Lash Extensions Review: Original Lash Ease Version Comparison

Pre-Glued DIY Lash Extensions Review: Original Lash Ease Version Comparison

Honest Comparison: Original Version vs. Pre-GLUE Version

Lash Kit Box - Pre glued DIY lash - Ease Lash

The kit includes five lengths of large lashes—8mm, 10mm, 12mm, 14mm, and 16mm—with 20 lashes of each length.

As someone who has been using DIY lash extensions for a while, I tried the newly released Pre-Glue DIY Lash Extensions and compared them directly with the previous version. In this review, I will go over the differences in shipping, comfort, retention, natural look, and ease of application.

    1. Shipping and First Impressions of the Pre-Glue DIY Extension Kit.

    Shipping Speed

Just like the previous version, the Pre-Glue DIY Lash Extensions arrived very quickly.

    Packaging and First Look

    • Original version: Simple and practical packaging
    • Pre-Glue version: Clean white case with a more luxurious, premium feel

I tried the new version right after it was released, and from the moment I opened the package, it clearly felt like a premium line.

👉 Learn everything about [the Lash Ease DIY Lash Extension Kit], including tips for natural application, in my detailed review.

Instructions for Ease Lash Pre glued Lash

The instructions are printed on the back of the product box, and for maximum effect and long-lasting wear, make sure to read them carefully before use.

    2. Band and Glue Differences

    Pre-Glued Band Features (New Version)

    • The lash band already has glue applied
    • When removing lashes from the tray, if the tweezers touch the glue

👉The glue can stretch or clump, so extra care is needed

    Glue Application Comparison

    • Original version: Mascara-type glue must be applied directly to natural lashes
    • Pre-glue version: No glue application step needed

👉 Not having to apply glue separately makes the process much more convenient.

    3. Retention Comparison (Biggest Difference)

    Original Version Retention

    • Lashes usually fall off naturally during cleansing or showering after a few days
    • The remaining glue can be removed fairly easily with a remover
    • Personally, they lasted up to about 4 days (although advertised as 7–10 days)

    Pre-Glue Version Retention

    • Clearly lasts much longer
    • Over time, the glue becomes sticky
    • The band can look shiny and slightly darker
    • When blinking, it sometimes feels like the glue slightly sticks
    • Instead of falling off naturally, I usually remove them myself when I feel it is time to change them

👉 In terms of retention alone, the Pre Glue version is much better.

Lash after use Close up Pre glued cluster Ease Lash

After use, the Pre-Glue lashes show that the clear glue has become cloudy, and sticky residue can be seen around the band.

    4. Comfort and Adjustment Period

    • With the pre-glue version, there is an adjustment period of a few hours
    • The band feels thicker and a bit bold at first, causing slight discomfort
    • Comfort improves noticeably over time

In comparison, the original version feels comfortable almost immediately after application.

    5. Design and Natural Look

    Original Version Design

    • All lash segments are similar in length – I used “Classic” lash style
    • Even with one segment, the look feels more artificial

    Pre-Glue Version Design

    • Only the centre segments are longer, with shorter sides – “Wispy” style
    • Creates a much more natural lash look
    • At first, the short sides and longer centre felt a bit unusual, but after 2–3 uses, it felt completely natural

✔ For natural daily makeup: Pre-Glue version
✔ For bold, dense volume: Original version

Lash Comparison Classic Beginner Kit vs Wispy Pre-glued Ease Lash

For a comparison of length and shape, the top left shows Pre-Glue 8mm (Wispy), the top right shows DIY Kit (Classic) 8mm, the bottom left shows Pre-Glue 14mm (Wispy), and the bottom right shows the DIY Kit (Classic) 14mm that I used previously.

The lashes from the original DIY kit are mostly the same length, while the Pre-Glue lashes are uneven, with the middle lashes longer than the sides. In addition, the band of the pre-glue lashes is noticeably thicker and heavier than that of the regular DIY kit.

    6. Length Options and Mixing Tips

→ I used shorter lashes on the outer corners and longer ones in the centre

    With the pre-glue version

    • 8mm lashes are barely noticeable
    • I personally prefer natural-looking lashes, but even 16mm, which felt too much before, works well when mixed in one piece at a time

👉 The Pre Glue version allows more flexible length mixing.

    7. Lash Quality, Damage Risk, and Reuse

    Lash Fibre Quality

    • The Pre-Glue version has soft, luxurious fibres
    • Looks less artificial when worn

    Natural Lash Damage

    • The original version requires glue on natural lashes -> higher risk of damage
    • Pre-glue version skips this step, so it feels less damaging overall
    • However, strong glue residue left after removal can still potentially damage natural lashes

    Reusability

    Pre-Glue version:

    • Glue becomes sticky and loses adhesion
    • Reuse is almost impossible

    Original version:

    • Can be reused with careful maintenance – Marketed as reusable
    • However, after one use, unless managed very carefully, the difference compared to new lashes is noticeable and lash density decreases

👉 If reusability and cost-effectiveness matter, the original version is better.

    8. Ease of Application: Pre-Glued DIY Lash Extensions vs Original Version

    Original Version

    • Glue must be applied to all lashes and worked with quickly
    • Once placed, adjusting the angle or fixing the position is difficult
    • Retention feels weaker if natural lashes are sparse

    Pre Glue Version

    • No need to rush during the application
    • The thick centre band provides strong and stable fixation
    • Easy to correct small mistakes or adjust angles
    • Works well regardless of whether natural lashes are thick or sparse

Pre-Glued DIY Lash Extensions vs Original Lash Ease Version

    Category Original Version Pre-Glued Version
    Band Thickness Thin Thick
    Glue Needed Yes No
    Retention Falls off naturally Long-lasting
Natural Look Uniform length Longer centre
    Comfort Comfortable immediately Needs adjustment
Reuse Possible with care Almost impossible
    Stability Hard to fix Stable

    Final Review and Recommendation

If you naturally have a lot of lashes, the original version that attaches directly to your natural lashes can still be a good option. However, in my case, whether because my natural lashes are sparse or simply due to lack of skill, the original version did not last long. I personally expect to stick with the Pre-Glue version, which looks more natural and lasts much longer.

Who Should Choose Pre-Glued vs Original?

✅ Recommended: Pre-Glued DIY Lash Extensions

    • Those who want a natural lash look
    • DIY lash beginners
    • Anyone who values long wear and easy application

✅ Recommended: Original Lash Ease DIY Lash Extensions

    • Those who prefer bold, dramatic volume
    • Fans of uniform lash lengths
    • Anyone who prioritises reusability and value

Azuma Den Canberra – Japanese & Korean Fusion Restaurant Review

✅ May 2026 Update: While the set menu configurations appear to have changed slightly, the specific dishes we enjoyed are still available for individual order. Prices also remain consistent with our January 2026 visit, so this review should still serve as a reliable guide for your dining experience.

Azuma Den Canberra – Japanese and Korean Fusion Restaurant Overview

Azuma Den is a Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant located in Canberra. It combines Japanese izakaya-style dining with Korean-inspired dishes, focusing mainly on set menus and shared dining.

We visited Azuma Den using a Christmas gift voucher and made an online reservation in advance. Even though we visited on a weekday evening, the restaurant was already quite busy. If you plan to visit Azuma Den in Canberra, booking ahead is highly recommended.

Azuma Den Interior and Atmosphere – Japanese-Style Fusion Dining

Although the menu uses Korean dish names, the interior feels more Japanese and slightly Chinese rather than Korean. The lighting is dim but comfortable, and the space feels modern, fresh, and well-maintained.

There is no dress code. From what we saw, casual outfits and even slippers were fine, making Azuma Den an easy and relaxed place to visit.

Azuma Den Ordering Tips – No Half-and-Half Korean Fried Chicken

The Dasom Feast includes Korean fried chicken, and you can choose between Soy Garlic or Sweet Chilli. However, it is not possible to split flavours like traditional Korean half-and-half fried chicken. For example, I wanted Sweet Chilli and my husband wanted Soy Garlic, but 👉 we had to choose only one flavour for the whole table.

Before visiting, we noticed many reviews mentioning the dumplings, so we also ordered the Lobster · Prawn · Scallop Dumplings as an extra dish.

Azuma Den Service Speed and Dining Experience

Service at Azuma Den was quite slow overall. After placing our first order, it took around 30 minutes for the edamame to arrive. If you are looking for a quick meal, this is something to keep in mind.

Silken Spicy Tofu Review – Korean-Style Appetiser

This dish featured soft silken tofu topped with a soy sauce and chilli flake mixture. The seasoning added a nice salty depth to the silky texture of the tofu. The addition of Korean perilla leaves gave the dish a fresh finish.

Fried Calamari Review – Yuzu Mayo Sauce

The calamari was lightly battered and not greasy. The mayo could have been greasy, but the yuzu sauce balanced it out, so it didn’t feel heavy and tasted fresh. A final kick from Sichuan pepper added mild heat and made the dish well-balanced overall.

Lobster, Prawn and Scallop Dumplings Review – Best Dish at Azuma Den

These seafood dumplings were ordered separately from the set menu.

    • Thin, chewy dumpling skin with well-balanced mix of lobster, prawn, and scallop
    • Very juicy and moist inside; not oily or greasy at all
    • Finished with a slightly spicy sauce and salmon roe on top

Korean Fried Chicken (Soy Garlic) Review – Disappointing Flavour

The soy garlic fried chicken looked very dark in colour when it arrived. After tasting it, we noticed a burnt flavour in the sauce, and the garlic aroma was very weak. It lacked crispiness and the crumb felt dry and heavy.

👉 Overall, this dish did not meet expectations.

Soy Garlic Korean Fried Chicken – The exterior looked dark and slightly burnt. The inside was moist and juicy, but the salty and slightly burnt flavours overpowered it.

Broccolini Review – Overly Salty Side Dish

The broccolini was grilled well, and the sesame seasoning on top was flavorful. However, the sauce underneath was also salty, making the overall seasoning too strong. Even when eaten with rice, it still tasted salty.

Ssam Pork Belly Wrap Review – Different from Traditional Korean Bossam

Based on the menu description, this dish seemed like Korean-style bossam using pork belly. However, the texture was very different from the soft, moist bossam we usually expect. The meat side was heavy and dry, and the other side had a very chewy, gelatin-like pork skin texture.

The pineapple salad served on the side was not very appealing. While I understand that Korean food in Australia is often fusion-style, I personally felt the meat would pair better with something crisp, rather than the soft, mushy texture of the pineapple.

AZD Brûlée Review – Mandarin and Ginger Dessert

I am not very familiar with crème brûlée, but the caramelised sugar on top tasted burnt. After checking other photos on Google, it seems this is how it is usually served. When removing the burnt sugar layer, the inside was smooth, creamy, and lightly sweet, which was enjoyable.

Final Thoughts on Azuma Den Canberra – Worth It?

Azuma Den in Canberra is a Japanese and Korean fusion restaurant worth trying at least once. While the seafood dumplings are highly recommended, the quality of other dishes varies, so overall satisfaction can be mixed.

Why I Chose to Read Second Sister After 13·67

Second Sister book cover by Chan Ho-Kei, published by Bloomsbury Publishing

Official cover image of Second Sister by Chan Ho-Kei (Bloomsbury Publishing)

After reading Chan Ho-Kei’s 13·67, I wanted to read more of his work. So, I picked up Second Sister, which is a very different kind of mystery.

From the start, the story shows the case as a suicide. Because of this, readers who expect a strong mystery from the first page might feel the beginning is calm. But as the story goes on, it becomes clear that Second Sister is not just about finding the criminal.

💡 Interested in Chan Ho-Kei’s most famous work?
Check out [the 13·67 book review] for a full plot summary, explanation, and my personal thoughts!

Second Sister Book Information (English Edition Details)

    • Title: Second Sister
    • Author: Chan Ho-Kei
    • Genre: Mystery, Thriller, Fiction, Suspense
    • Length: Over 700 pages

In modern society, the online and offline worlds are closely connected and impossible to separate. However, this convenient connection can sometimes threaten personal safety and everyday life.

Second Sister directly addresses the dark side of modern society, including online anonymity, cyber violence, and collective harassment hidden behind the internet.

    Main Characters in Second Sister

✔ Nga-Yee Au – The Sister Searching for the Truth

The older sister, who doubts her younger sister’s death and begins searching for the truth. She constantly struggles between revenge and justice.

    ✔ Au Siu-Man – A Victim of Cyberbullying

A victim of cyberbullying. Although she is no longer alive, she remains at the centre of the story and represents how easily society can destroy an individual.

✔ Hacker N – The Face of the Network Society

More than just a helper. He exposes the hidden desires and structural problems of network-based society.

Second Sister Plot Summary (No Spoilers)

Fifteen-year-old Au Siu-Man suddenly dies. Although the case is officially ruled a suicide, her older sister Nga-Yee Au feels that something does not make sense.

Believing that her sister’s death was not simply a personal choice, Nga-Yee seeks help from the legendary hacker N, who lives in hiding. Together, they begin investigating the truth.

As the investigation continues, it becomes clear that the case is connected to:

    • Online harassment
    • Violence hidden behind anonymity
    • The spread of rumours
    • Crimes rooted in the real world

While the novel follows the structure of a traditional mystery, it raises a deeper question: not “Who is the criminal?” but “Why was this tragedy possible?”

Second Sister Full Plot Explained (🚫 Spoilers below)

Social media and online bully issue in Second sister Chan ho-kei

image by Gerd Altmann from Pixabay

    ▼ Spoilers Below ▼

Au Siu-Man’s death is revealed to be the result of collective and anonymous online violence, not simply a suicide.

After Au Siu-Man experienced sexual harassment on the subway, Violet To uploaded a false anonymous post online. The rumour spreads rapidly, socially isolating Siu-Man and pushing her into extreme psychological distress.

Violet’s older brother, Christopher Song, is also deeply involved. Although they never physically harmed the victim, they became perpetrators by inflicting overwhelming mental and emotional damage.

Legally, the case remains a suicide, meaning no punishment is given. This creates a strong sense of irony, as the tragedy is clearly the result of these two siblings’ actions.

Using advanced computer and network skills, along with exceptional social engineering techniques, Hacker N not only exposes the truth but also carries out a form of “eye-for-an-eye” revenge.

Second Sister Review – Strengths and Weaknesses

What Works Well in Second Sister

    • It shows real social issues in a mystery story in a natural way
    • The book shows the characters’ thoughts and feelings in detail.
    • Complex case structure with gradually revealed truths
    • Fascinating use of hacking and social engineering
    • It shows bad people get punished in some way in the end

What Might Feel Heavy for Some Readers

    • The length (over 700 pages) may not suit all readers
    • Readers looking for a light mystery may find the themes heavy

    Who Should Read Second Sister?

    • Readers interested in cybercrime and modern social issues
    • Fans of psychological thrillers and social mysteries
    • Those who enjoy long novels with strong immersion
    • Readers interested in psychological revenge rather than legal punishment

Is Second Sister Worth Reading Today? – Final Thoughts

These days, with so much AI and fake information, it is getting harder to know what is true and what is false.

Behind the convenience of anonymity, people easily criticise and attack others. And there is no guarantee that one day, the victim will not be ourselves.

Nga-Yee decided to stop the revenge at one point, yet watching N psychologically pressure the offenders was difficult to read. It is not like the usual detective story plot, but Second Sister still asks important questions that people today should think about.

It is also worth noting that a film adaptation based on this novel was recently released in Korea.

Second Sister vs 13·67 – Which Chan Ho-Kei Novel Should You Read First?

    13·67

    • A collection of separate stories
    • A classic mystery with a clever detective
    • Shows Hong Kong’s history through each story

    Second Sister

    • Focuses deeply on a single case
    • Emphasises social issues and modern themes
    • Explores the internet, anonymity, and collective psychology

    Final Comparison

    • Classic mystery structure → 13·67
    • Social issues & modern themes → Second Sister
    • First-time Chan Ho-Kei readers → 13·67
    • Expanded reading after entry → Second Sister

Personally, I prefer traditional mystery structures, so 13·67 suited my taste more. However, Second Sister is still a novel with strong completion in both message and narrative, leaving a lasting impression.

Where to Eat Banh Mi in Canberra – 29 Cafe & Eatery Curtin Review

Discovering 29 Cafe & Eatery – A Canberra Banh Mi Spot

Exterior view of 29 Cafe & Eatery in Curtin

Exterior view of 29 Cafe & Eatery in Curtin, with outdoor tables available for casual dining.

This banh mi shop was recommended by my husband’s colleague, and that’s how we first discovered it. My husband has always loved banh mi and has tried many places around Canberra. After his first visit here, he said the food was solid and has continued to come back occasionally.

For me, this was my second visit.

First Visit – Pork Me Up Special Banh Mi Review

On our first visit, we ordered the Pork Me Up, which is the most expensive special on the menu. It was very generous in size and quite filling. We took it away and ate it at Kingston Foreshore Park, but even when pressed down, the banh mi was still very thick. Personally, I found it quite difficult to bite through. If you’re eating at home and don’t mind getting a bit messy, it could be fine. But for eating outside, this menu felt a bit too heavy for me.

Menu Overview & Prices at 29 Cafe & Eatery Curtin

The banh mi follows a classic Vietnamese base with cucumber, pickled carrot and daikon, while the protein and sauce change depending on the menu. Menu options include:

    • Lemongrass beef
    • BBQ chicken
    • Lemongrass chicken
    • Garlic tofu (vegetarian option)
    • Two sunny-side-up egg banh mi
    • Roast pork
    • Vietnamese sausage
    • Traditional banh mi (with cold Vietnamese ham)

Prices are mostly between $10–$12, which is similar to other banh mi shops in Canberra. The most expensive special menu we tried previously was $15.

Close-up of the menu at 29 Cafe & Eatery

Close-up of the menu at 29 Cafe & Eatery, Curtin, featuring a range of classic banh mi options.

    What We Ordered This Time

This time, we decided to go back to the basics. We ordered the 29 Signature Roast Pork Banh Mi and the Traditional Banh Mi with Vietnamese cold cuts.

    Customisation Options & Service Speed

When ordering, we asked for less sauce and more chilli. I’m not a big fan of coriander, but my husband loves it, so we didn’t ask to remove it. Coriander is placed on top rather than mixed in, so it seems easy to customise.

As we were sharing, we requested the banh mi to be cut in half, and each sandwich was served as two pieces, making four pieces in total. Service was very fast. We received our coffee within a few minutes of sitting down, and the banh mi followed almost immediately. It felt like a great option for a quick Canberra lunch.

Food Review in 29 Cafe & Eatery

Banh Mi Size & Bread Texture

At first glance, the banh mi looks quite large, but once pressed, it becomes easy enough to eat. Compared to the special menu, this size felt much more manageable. The portion was filling but not too heavy. The bread, however, was not crispy enough. It wasn’t soggy, but it lacked that extra crunchy texture that banh mi bread is usually known for. Normally, banh mi bread is very crispy and crumbly, but here the crunch felt slightly more subtle.

Traditional vs 29 Signature Roast Pork Banh Mi

After trying both, we preferred the Traditional Banh Mi slightly more. The Vietnamese cold cuts were mild and not overpowering, and the freshness from the carrot and radish pickles really stood out. The overall balance was good, making it a lighter and easier banh mi to enjoy.

The Signature Roast Pork Banh Mi had pork that was crispy on the outside and juicy inside, which I really enjoyed. However, the house special sauce on top—visually similar to a BBQ sauce—felt a bit strong for my personal taste, as it slightly overpowered the natural flavours of the pork and other ingredients. If you enjoy a richer, more saucy banh mi, this would still be an enjoyable option.

    Coffee Menu Review

That day, my husband decided to try the Vietnamese coffee. It had a strong bittersweet flavour, with bitterness from the coffee and sweetness from condensed milk. He mentioned it was perfect after a morning run to recharge his energy. For me, it was a bit too sweet, but I would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys bold, sweet coffee.

    Vietnamese coffee

Coffee served at the cafe, a popular choice to enjoy with a banh mi.

I ordered my usual weak oat flatwhite. The foam was just right, with no acidity, and a smooth, nutty flavour that went down easily.

    Oat milk flat white

Close-up of an oat milk flat white, smooth and well-balanced.

    After the Meal

While eating, neither of us noticed the food being salty. However, after finishing, both my husband and I felt a bit thirsty.

2026 May Update: Re-visiting for the Traditional Pork Banh Mi

I went back in mid-April and had the Traditional Pork Banh Mi (Cold) again. The bread was pretty much the same as last time, and the fillings hadn’t changed much, though it felt a bit more “moist” this time around. I reckon the amount of sauce just depends on the day or who’s making it.

Last time, I kept the coriander in since I was sharing with my husband, but since I was on my own this time, I ordered it without coriander. I noticed some spring onions that I don’t remember seeing before—they added a nice crunch and sweetness to the mix.

The presentation is still spot on. The ham was layered perfectly with matching colours, making it look really appetising. It’s good to see they still put effort into how the food looks.

Traditional pork banh mi (cold) – When I revisited in April, I noticed some spring onions which I don’t recall seeing back in January, but they added a nice texture and a bit of sweetness to the mix.

The different types of ham were layered perfectly, not messy at all, which made it look really appetising.

Who I Would Recommend This Banh Mi Shop To

Overall, this place does a solid job sticking to the basics of banh mi. It’s not overly heavy or intense, making it easy to enjoy. With fast service and many takeaway customers, it’s a good option for a quick Canberra lunch. Especially recommended for:

    • People who enjoy sandwiches that aren’t greasy
    • Days when you want something simple but filling
    • Banh mi beginners or those looking for a safe, classic option
    • Vegetarians looking for a meat-free banh mi, such as the Garlic Tofu Banh Mi

Atmosphere, Location & Parking – 29 Cafe & Eatery Curtin

Inside the shop, there are around 10 tables and a bar table with 5 – 6 seats, with another 7–8 outdoor tables available. The cafe is located right next to Curtin Coles, within a local shopping centre, and offers free parking. It’s a comfortable choice if you’re looking for a spot easy to reach by car. Lunchtime can get busy due to nearby shops, so visiting slightly outside peak lunch hours is recommended.

Netflix ‘Run Away’ (2026) Review: A Must-Watch Mystery Thriller for the Weekend

    May 2026 Update:

It’s been four months since I posted this review on January 4th, right after binge-watching Run Away on its release day. Seeing how this series, which swept the Netflix #1 spot immediately after launch, is still being consistently streamed in May proves that Harlan Coben’s grip on the audience is truly remarkable.

I recently heard that a new title, ‘Caught (2026)’, was released this past March. I’ll make sure to binge it soon and bring you a comparison review with Run Away.

For those of you who have already finished last year’s hit ‘Missing You (2025)’, I recommend revisiting the shocking twist involving Ingrid that I analysed back in January as you prepare for your next Coben marathon!

    Netflix Run Away Review

How I Started Binge-Watching: My First Harlan Coben Series

Last weekend, my husband and I were looking for something new on Netflix. We saw <Run Away>. We didn’t know much about the author, Harlan Coben, but the trailer looked great. We ended up binge-watching the whole thing all weekend! It was so good that now I want to watch all of his other works.

Run Away – Cast, Genre, and Release Date

    • Release Date: January 1, 2026 (Netflix)
    • Genre: Mystery · Thriller · Crime · Suspense
    • Episodes: 8 Episodes
    • Main Cast: James Nesbitt (Simon), Minnie Driver (Ingrid), Ellie de Lange (Paige), Ruth Jones (Elena), Alfred Enoch (Isaac), Jon Pointing (Ash), Caolan Byrne (Dee Dee)

[No Spoilers] Run Away Plot: A Father’s Search and a Family Tragedy

    • The story is about a happy family that falls apart when the daughter, Paige, becomes addicted to drugs and runs away from home. The father, Simon, hates Paige’s boyfriend, Aaron, because he believes Aaron is the reason for everything.
    • How it starts: Simon finds Paige busking in a park. He gets into a fight with Aaron. Someone records it, edits it badly, and Simon becomes known online as a “violent man.”
    • The mystery deepens: Soon after, Aaron is found dead, and Paige disappears again. Because of the video, Simon becomes the Prime Suspect for the murder.
    • Family crisis: While searching for Paige, Simon chases a drug dealer. During the chaos, his wife gets shot and falls into a coma. It’s a total nightmare for the family.

    Suspense Scene

Why Run Away is Interesting: Building the Mystery

    • The mystery keeps growing until the very end. Characters who seem unrelated keep appearing, making you feel like you are lost in a maze.
    • Non-stop pacing: It makes you want to click “Next Episode” immediately.
    • Killer Duo & Secret Organisation: It’s not just about a missing girl. A “Mysterious Organisation” is involved, making the story very unpredictable.

My Honest Thoughts and the Big Twist (🚫 Spoilers below)

    Twist Scene

    Twist Scene

    ▼ Spoilers Below ▼

There were some parts that were a bit frustrating, but the twist was huge.

    • Frustrating Characters: The detective was annoying for treating Simon like a criminal without proof. Simon was also very emotional and pushed people too hard, which was hard to watch.
    • Key figure: Dee Dee is the one who really brings the tension to a boiling point in the middle of the story. When the secrets she knows are finally revealed, we can finally get close to the truth of the whole mystery.
    • The Reveal: After all that hard work and danger, the truth is revealed simply because Paige shows up and tells the story. Compared to all of Simon’s “hard work,” the way we find out the truth felt a little bit too easy. Also, the “secret organisation” and “adoption agency” were the main keys to the mystery, but Paige actually didn’t have a direct connection to them.
    • The Final Twist (Ingrid’s Past): This was the biggest shock. Ingrid used to be a cult member, and Aaron was actually her son from the cult leader! She killed him to protect Paige, not knowing he was her own son. Simon and Paige decide to keep this a secret from Ingrid forever. Imagine that—a mother killing her own son without knowing it.

Final Thoughts on Netflix <Run Away>: The Importance of Family Communication

My takeaway from <Run Away> is clear: “Don’t trust anyone, and it’s not over until it’s actually over. Overall, this drama shows how “silence”—even when it’s chosen to protect each other—can lead to a total disaster for a family. When there is no honest conversation, misunderstandings grow and eventually turn into a big tragedy. If you want a thriller that is both exciting and meaningful about family, I recommend this series!

  • DIY Lash Extensions for Beginners: Lash Ease Review & Tips

DIY Lash Extensions for Beginners: Lash Ease Review & Tips

My Lash Extension Journey: From Salons to DIY

    * This is a record of my early DIY lash extension experience from early 2026, reorganised for my new blog. It covers my initial trials and honest thoughts on the starter kit before moving on to my current routine.

💡 Looking for a simpler alternative?
If you find applying lash glue difficult or messy, I recommend reading my detailed experience with [Lash Ease Pre-glued lashes]—they require no extra glue and are much faster to apply!

Ease Lash DIY Starter Kit close up

My first purchase was the DIY Starter Kit.

I started using the Lash Ease DIY lash extension kit because mascara began smudging on me as I got older. Even waterproof mascaras didn’t help much, and going to lash salons didn’t feel worth the money.

I prefer a very natural look and don’t like attaching too many lashes, so sometimes I would even get charged half price because I asked for so few. At one point, I thought, “Why not just do it myself?” That’s how I ended up trying DIY lash extensions.

    Purchase History from Lash Ease

    • First purchase: DIY Starter Bundle
    • Second purchase: Lash Kit XL Classic
Ease Lash - Lash Kit XL Classic set close up

The second kit I bought was the Lash Kit XL Classic.

    Trying the Wrong Method First

In the beginning, I didn’t want the glue to get on my natural lashes and feel sticky, so I applied the glue only to the band of the false lashes. That did not work well.

    • They wouldn’t stick properly
    • Even when they did stick, they came off very easily
    • If you apply too much glue, it gets clumpy and messy
    • When the glue sits on the lash line, one blink makes it stick to the lower lashes
    • Reapplying again and again dries out the glue bottle
    • Glue splatters everywhere when you pull the applicator in and out
    • The false lashes also get damaged quickly

Basically, if you don’t follow the instructions, the result looks bad and the lashes don’t last.

    Using the Product Properly

Once I used it the right way, the process itself was quite easy—skills and practice aside.

You simply brush the glue onto your own lashes like mascara, then place the false lash underneath. It grips right away. Using tweezers, you gently press your natural lashes and the false lashes together, starting from the outer corner and moving inward while adjusting the angle. The technique and how natural it looks completely depend on your skill.

And since this method involves applying glue directly to your natural lashes, some level of damage is unavoidable with long-term use.

Lash Sizes and What I Use

I mainly use 10mm and 12mm. The only downside is that the kits come with sizes I don’t use, 8mm, 14mm or over. I wish they offered size-specific options or allowed custom selection.

    Concerns About the Glue Formula

I haven’t experienced irritation or stinging, but I do worry a bit because the glue ingredients aren’t clearly listed. Considering this is a product used near the eye area, I would really like to know what’s in the formula.

What I Like About Lash Ease

    • Very fast shipping
    • Reasonable pricing compared to other brands
    • Good for beginners
    • Reusable lashes
    • The lashes usually fall off during a shower or cleansing routine, not randomly during daily activities
    • They can last several days, and the website says they last up to 10 days (I haven’t reached that yet)

Removing the Glue from Reusable Lashes

When using a lash glue remover, the glue melts off quite fast once it touches the lashes. There’s no need to leave the remover on for a long time.

If you ever apply remover directly onto the reusable lashes (not just your natural lashes), don’t leave it too long. I made that mistake—leaving remover on the lashes and the band for too long caused them to break apart easily, especially the band section.

If you want your lashes to last longer, remove the glue gently and wash off the remover sooner rather than later.

Overall Thoughts – Good for DIY beginners

The lash bands are dark and bold; they can sometimes look less natural once applied. But honestly, attaching individual lash clusters manually would take a lot more time and effort. With this Lash Ease DIY kit, I only use three pieces per eye.

Overall, I find the kit very convenient to use and reasonably priced. It’s perfect for beginners who want to try at-home lash extensions without spending too much. Even though I prefer a natural look and use only a few clusters per eye, the kit is fast, easy, and satisfying to work with.

I just hope they eventually offer customisable size options, as I tend to use only specific lengths. More size choices would make the kit even better for achieving a tailored, natural lash look at home.

close up applying four clusters lash - ease lash

At first, I applied four clusters per eye. For me, this felt a bit too full. My eyes felt heavy and a little crowded, and the overall look was a bit overwhelming.

ease lash applying three cluster photo close up

After that, I reduced it to three clusters per eye. Up close, the lashes can still feel slightly heavy. From a distance, the look is natural — you can see a hint of volume without it being over the top.

  • Hong Kong Detective Novel Recommendation: Chan Ho‑kei 13·67 Review

Hong Kong Detective Novel Recommendation: Chan Ho‑kei 13·67 Review

    May 2026 Update:

Following the 2025 release of ‘The Loneliest Guy’ (not yet available in English), there have been no further updates regarding new works or film adaptations from Chan Ho-kei as of May 2026.

Despite this silence, 13.67 continues to be celebrated among mystery fans as a masterpiece that grows more profound with time. It is hard to imagine another work that so exquisitely intertwines the turbulent modern history of Hong Kong with the intellectual thrill of classic detective fiction.

To make the wait easier, why not dive back into Inspector Kwan’s story and look for the clues you might have missed before?

    Introduction – Discovering Chan Ho‑kei 13·67 Novel

Hong Kong street view representing 13.67 atmosphere

I usually read Korean and Japanese detective novels and enjoy works by Keigo Higashino, but I had never read books by Hong Kong or Chinese authors.

While browsing the mystery section on platforms I use for webtoons, web novels, comics, and e-books, I came across 13·67, newly updated. I started reading it without expectations, but I quickly became fully absorbed in the story.

Book Title Meaning and Hong Kong Historical Background

The title “13·67” refers to the period from 2013 to 1967 in Hong Kong, based on real historical events.

Although the novel draws on real history, the story does not feel too heavy. The events are blended naturally, so readers can enjoy the story without feeling bored.

The book is made up of six independent episodes, each telling a separate story that does not directly continue from the previous one.

Hong Kong historical background for 13.67

Chan Ho-kei’s 13·67: Complete Episode Breakdown (Episodes 1–6)

📕Episode 1: The Truth Between Black and White – Hong Kong Murder Mystery

The story begins with wealthy businessman Yuen Man Bun found dead in his home.

    • Early evidence suggests that the murder was committed by someone inside the house, not an outsider. The main suspects are his two sons, one daughter-in-law, his long-time secretary, and the household staff.
    • Detective Sonny Lok leads the investigation and receives clues and advice through a device from the genius detective Kwan Chun-dok, who is nearly in a coma due to late-stage cancer but can still hear and think.

📕Episode 2: Prisoner’s Morality – Hong Kong Drug Gang and Missing Singer

This episode focuses on Kwan Chun-dok’s past work as an advisor and events after his retirement.

    • Hong Kong police are running a large drug raid, and Cheuk Hon Cheung, Hong Kong’s top gangster, is the main drug supplier. Everyone knows who the top boss is, but it is hard to get concrete evidence, and Sonny Lok struggles with the operation’s failure.
    • After the raid fails, a singer in Cheuk Hon Cheung’s entertainment company and the son of another gangster, The Launderer, are involved in a troubling incident.

Avatar 3 Review: Fire and Ash|After The Way of Water, Pandora Grows Darker

    May 2026 Update:

At the 98th Academy Awards held this past March, ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ predictably took home the Oscar for Best Visual Effects! While it was a bit disappointing for fans that it missed out on major categories like Best Picture or Best Director, the overwhelming visual innovation of the ‘Ash People’ was something even the Academy couldn’t ignore.

Five months after its release, the film still dominates the top of the VOD charts. Now is the perfect time to revisit the technical brilliance of this masterpiece and explore the foreshadowing for Avatar 4 in my detailed review below!

Personal Viewing Background|Not a Hardcore Avatar Fan, But Always End Up Watching

    Avatar 3 Poster

I am not a huge fan of fantasy movies, except for Harry Potter. When the first Avatar came out, I was impressed by the visuals, but I was not a big fan. Still, I always end up watching the new Avatar movies.

My husband is also not a big fan, and he had mostly forgotten the story. So before watching Avatar 3: Fire and Ash, we quickly reviewed the previous films. I wanted to watch it in 3D, but my husband gets motion sickness, so we watched it in a regular theatre. That was a bit disappointing for me.

    🎬 Movie Information|Avatar 3

    • Title: Avatar: Fire and Ash
    • Director: James Cameron
    • Release: December 2025
    • Genre: Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Adventure
    • Series: Avatar (Part 3)

Spoiler-Free Review|A Broader World Through Internal Conflict

Avatar: Fire and Ash continues the story right after The Way of Water.

The focus is not just the fight between humans and Na’vi, but also conflicts inside Pandora and the feelings of the Sully family.

The biggest change is the new Na’vi clan, the Ash People. Unlike the previous water-based world, this movie shows Pandora’s harsh areas with fire, ash, and volcanoes.

The Ash People value power, survival, and violence over harmony with nature. This breaks the usual idea of “Na’vi = good.”

Even though the movie is long and the story moves slowly at times, Avatar 3 is important for understanding where the world of Pandora is heading.

    Who This Movie Is For:

    ✅ Recommended Audience

    • Viewers who have watched Avatar 1 and 2
    • Those who enjoy films that leave you with something to think about afterwards
    • Audiences who value immersive experiences over fast storytelling (Especially effective in IMAX or theatres with strong sound systems)

    ❌ Not Recommended For

    • Viewers who prefer fast-paced, light entertainment (There is action, but the film focuses a lot on emotional and thoughtful moments)
    • Those looking for a clear, happy ending (There is no clean victory or neatly wrapped conclusion)

🔥 Spoiler Review|What “Fire and Ash” Really Mean

    Avatar 3 Official Poster

    ▼ Spoilers Below ▼

The movie Avatar: Fire and Ash starts with the Sully family still sad after the death of Neteyam. This loss is the main emotional part of the movie and drives the big problems in Avatar 3.

The new Ash People are one of the most dangerous threats on Pandora. Unlike other Na’vi clans, they don’t follow or believe in Eywa, the Great Mother. The Ash People live alone, attack other Na’vi clans, and will even work with the human RDA if it helps them survive.

This is what makes Avatar 3: Fire and Ash different from the previous Avatar movies. Even though the fight with the RDA is still there, the main danger comes from inside the Na’vi world. The movie asks an important question for viewers: how far will people go to survive on Pandora?

The Sully Family’s Emotional Arcs|Character Development

The story gradually builds toward its climax by focusing on the emotional struggles of each member of the Sully family.

    Jake Sully

He is torn between his responsibility as a leader—knowing that choosing revenge will only escalate the war and endanger his people—and his belief that ending the conflict now could finally protect his family.

    Neytiri

After losing her son, her sadness turns into a strong and dangerous anger toward humans, more extreme than in the previous films.

    Lo’ak

He struggles with guilt over his brother’s death while desperately wanting his father’s approval.

    Kiri

She finally learns the truth about her mysterious birth and seeks answers from Eywa. When Eywa offers no response, Kiri feels abandoned and frustrated.

    Spider

Thanks to Kiri’s help, he can now breathe without a mask. Still, living with the Sully family, he remains caught between worlds—neither fully human nor fully Na’vi—and feels deeply conflicted about his identity.

    A Missed Opportunity|Varang’s Ambiguous Exit

One disappointing aspect is the fate of Varang, the powerful and charismatic leader of the Ash People. Despite her strong presence throughout the film, she exits the story without a clear defeat or victory. It’s unclear whether this is meant to hint at her return in the next instalment. If this truly is her final appearance, her ambiguous departure feels somewhat unsatisfying.

Ending Explained|The Message Behind Fire and Ash

In the title Fire and Ash, fire represents destruction, while ash symbolises what remains after that destruction.

The ending avoids presenting a clear victory and instead leaves things deliberately unresolved, clearly setting the stage for the next chapter. Pandora is still far from safe, and after enduring so much emotional turmoil, the Sully family is no longer the same. The changes introduced in Avatar 3 raise an important question: how will these fractures shape the story in Avatar 4?

Final Thoughts|Overall Review of Avatar: Fire and Ash

Visually, the movie looks amazing as always. The final fight happens on land, in the sky, and in the sea at the same time, giving the stunning visuals that the Avatar series is known for.

Some people might think the story is slow or very similar to The Way of Water. But for me, who didn’t expect much from the plot, it was fun to watch.

Even though the movie is over three hours long, it never felt boring, and the time went by quickly.

While you will be able to watch it at home later, Avatar is best on the big screen. If you don’t get motion sick, watching it in 3D would make it even more amazing.

It’s important to know the previous movies before watching. If you’ve forgotten some parts of the story, a quick review will make the movie much easier to enjoy.
